Our
Programmes.
Establishing community-run learning spaces, driving cultural revival, and securing ancestral forest rights.
Education
Our Federation prioritizes education for our tribal children by ensuring basic schooling and reintegrating dropouts into regular schools. We maintain a computer center and have established learning centers in hamlets. Furthermore, we provide consistent career guidance and admission support to steer students toward appropriate higher education.

ForestRights Act
Our Federation is actively engaged in crucial work related to the Forest Rights Act (FRA), focusing on seven villages. A noteworthy achievement of our efforts is the successful acquisition of land titles, known as 'patta,' for a total of 210 beneficiaries within the Irula communities. This accomplishment underscores the Federation's commitment to securing and recognizing the forest rights of local residents.

CulturalHeritage
Our Federation organizes stage performances that showcase our rich cultural programs. We have been actively conducting comprehensive classes for the next generation focusing on traditional music, dance, and art. Beyond artistic instruction, we are committed to advancing knowledge in traditional healing, ethnic practices, time-honored agricultural methods, and the unique design of traditional structures.

Health
Since its founding, the Federation's health initiatives have spanned a wide spectrum of community needs. Core programs include comprehensive support for child health, promoting menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls, and providing essential antenatal and postnatal care. We frequently organize specialized health camps focused on eye care, infertility, general wellness, and screening for sickle cell anemia.

Environment
The Federation actively engages tribal communities in environmental stewardship by encouraging the cultivation of herbal gardens and kitchen gardens. We also facilitate access to non-conventional energy solutions including solar motors, solar streetlights, lanterns, and smokeless chulas to enhance sustainability and quality of life.

Livelihood
Adi Federation plays a vital role in supplementing livelihood development activities such as farming, animal husbandry, and other entrepreneurship activities including processing and marketing of agricultural produces. The Federation also works for availing various government welfare schemes to the tribes and represents their grievances with local panchayats and district heads.
